In winter 2004 a few Carleton Engineering students got together and decided to design a new leather jacket. The design had to establish a united Carleton Engineering community of students, graduates and faculty. Noticing that the existing jackets were undesirable, they decided that the new jacket would be entirely student designed.

These new red jackets can be seen all over campus, wherever engineers frequent. At Carleton Engineering events and even on the town it is hard not to see a few of these jackets being proudly worn.
